But I’m done!!! The dreaded document I had to finish for tomorrow (which I was bitchin’ about all afternoon yesterday) is finally finished.

For some reason, the past week, I like having the GMA morning program in the background while I get ready for work. I forget to tune in to 89.9 for the morning zoo crew, and have missed some of King Lo’s early morning j*ck*ss remarks. I listen on Mondays when I travel from my parents’ house.

I was supposed to meet with cleo and marla tonight, but unfortunately I’m stuck at work. Marla wanted to show us the finalized top design for our gowns. I wanted to talk to cleo too to find some pictures of marla from high school in her albums. I already have scanned some that I have and sent them over to lyra. I’ve been corresponding with marla’s college friends, lyra and odette, all day today, actually since the weekend.

I bawled a lot last night watching the life story of Melanie Marquez told on TV. Hey!!! I don’t usually watch local TV programming but I was so bummed last night while not feeling well and I couldn’t sleep… Besides, I haven’t cried in a while. Not too many good commercials these days.
Will listen to Joseph’s talk in 5 minutes about MOMPs. Meantime….

Lazy Wednesday.
Beach House Barbecue. Amor used to say the vinegar they use seems to reek of some kind of liquor. We ate sorbetero ice cream twice in a row today. Right now I’m just bumming the time away til 4pm. I wonder where Silverh is, I’m getting bored alone here in the office.

I saw dragonflies mating just some minutes ago on my walk from Math Building to Science Building. Funny how they float. Wouldn’t that be an interesting conversation piece? The differences in mating in different species. XoX

Janeth and I are wearing clothing of the same fabric/color/pattern today. Yellow, white, baby blue striped. It’ll be Janeth’s birthday tomorrow! Silverh and I were thinking of getting her a Finding Nemo DVD.

Highlight for today: New toys!!!
Well, it was last Saturday when we bought the LOTR ROTK figures (Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Gandalf the White and Saruman). But of course, the excitement grows each day after.
Such simple little things toys are. Though they brighten the gloomiest day. Therapeutic, amidst stress. Silverh and I don’t seem to let a mall stroll by without a visit to Toy Kingdom/Toytown, etc.

Was out with Ma and Pa at Greenbelt and Glorietta yesterday. We had the worst Japanese lunch at Shinkanzen (mental note: never eat there ever again). Had the best pretzel at Auntie Anne’s (it’s the dip, I tell you) and the best empanada! (though I don’t eat empanada, Jamacian’s are really good).
