Saturday night.
food trip!
Starbucks + Cabalen. details later.
Phone is dead. Something wrong with the power. Lights go on and out in a split second. I gotta know if it’s a serious malfunction or still can be fixed.

Rey’s here right now, taking pictures. He took some marvelous ones he showed just now.

Only a good 3 weeks to go ’til the semester ends.
Funny how I tend to pick up stuff (like words or expressions) from people you see/hear almost everyday. Is anyone else this way? I should think some are… most likely. Oh, crap. Ha-ha. If you listen to the King and Slick like Silverh and I do you’d know what I mean.
Nothing much to say, just general - nonsense - wonderment. Though I do feel a bit crappy today for some reason. Must be ’cause I’m alone with nothing much to do… nothing to do to my liking, that is. It’s a FRIDAY, that’s one good thing.
Last night was nice… so was the other night… but I can’t help feel weird at the moment.
Angsts, angsts and more angsts.
I know I am no war friek, ’cause any other girl who got messed with like I was these past few days by that blasted short-haired-barely-a-member-of-a-female-species would get much more than an earful. More like that person would get it full on the ears.
My bad, I had to take it out on someone tons nicer. I am a total idiot.
What’s done is done.

George says we get to present our papers soon. Finally something to speak for on the 27th. I’ll do updates on this paper soon as I get my thoughts organized. They’re crumpled up all over the place.

I go crazy with cross-stitching… especially after Ajay suggested re-installing WinStitch, coupled with the bunch of digipics we accumulated over the past year.. this is a hellraiser. Gosh, girly girl old-maidy stuff. I must be losing my mind. It’s a good stress reliever brought by playing too much ps2. Gah, now I really gotta finish my boundary layer paper it’s getting in the way of my playtime.

We met Anne last night, she’s a sweet girl.
The food was great too. Belated happy birthday to you, Mr. Secretive. Ha-ha.

11 September. *whispers a prayer*
I just emerged groggily from a grueling 3-hour bureacratic gathering. To sum up: “What the hell kind of country is this?”
Nothing I write here after all is so interesting for anyone else other than myself. So here’s the weekend report:
——————
The past week was a whirlwind of events mostly about Marla’s bethrothal with Mark. Bridesmaid gowns are the main concern these past days, and so far *checks email* the other girls have not made up their minds yet about what to wear.
——————
I went with my dad and mom to Tutuban yesterday, and the hordes and hordes of people swarming over the unbelievably cheap merchandise overwhelmed us, as usual. I won’t talk about what we bought, it would only incriminate us, for up to 2 years in prison. Haha, go figure.
——————-
I guess I really have no time to tell stories online today… Silverh looks beat, so I guess I’ll traipse on home now. Ta-ta.
Happy birthday Jierarudo!
Stories later… pictures tomorrow. Have a bunch of stuff to do first.
Been home for exactly 47 minutes. It was a more fun evening than I expected. First time I met Ais (Does it spell correctly, I wonder), Bryan, and Mark (Marla’s fiance). I met Yoyes back in college but it’s the first time I got to spend time with her. It was a pretty exciting night. Cleo and I met at Kamiseta at around 6 pm, Marla and Mark arrived by 6.30. We waited for the others at Carl’s Jr. We picked a gown design for us bridesmaids and I was able to sneak a look at the bridal gown design. A month to prepare… I hope things turn out fine.
Mark was very silent, though he did smile often. Looks like a pretty harmless fellow. Thumbs up? Yah, he ain’t so bad.
Jon came to pick us up around 9.30. We left Makati past 10.
I realized I didn’t eat anything save for the blueberry cheesecake and a couple of burger bites… I don’t feel sleepy at all but I gotta get some shut-eye… need to visit the seamstress tomorrow morning to show the design we chose and ask for a quotation.
See you monday. We’re off to Greenhills, then I’ll probably see Amor, then Rosebud, then Marla and her fiance.
Too bad there wasn’t much of ate Lulu’s molo this afternoon, Silverh would have liked it. I saved a loaf of parsley garlic bread for him so at least I know he’ll enjoy that.
