100 Random Things About Me.
((I’m spending the night on my own here in the office. Silverh went home early, and I need to finish reading the books I checked out from the library last month… they’re all due tomorrow, last day of classes. While I idle the afternoon, I want to do this list.))
100 Random things about myself.
(items in bold are understatements)
1. I’m a chocoholic.
2. I’m a caffeiholic.
3. I’m no alcoholic, but I love sparkling grape juice.
4. I know I could look slimmer, but I’m just not good at dieting.
5. I know I could look prettier, but I’m just not as concerned ’bout my looks as I oughta be.
6. My hair, even at its longest, is thinner and lesser in volume as anyone else’s. I can put it up in a bun with a single hairpin.
7. I love reading books. If I had all the time to myself, and no computers and game consoles around, I’d be reading any book.
8. I love my job, but I think I deserve more compensation. (Doesn’t everyone?)
9. I love to study, given the leisure and pleasure of my own time.
10. I used to write a lot of poems, but I seem to have lost the knack.
11. I love to sing, though I wish I had a wider vocal range.
12. I bruise like a peach.
13. I cry like a baby.
14. I’m a sucker for romance.
15. When I fall in love, I love with my whole self.
16. I love my mom, not only coz she’s my mom, but also coz she’s the sister I never had.
17. I love my dad, though he’s probably the weirdest person I’ve had closest to me.
18. I have a short tolerance for tagalog movies.
19. I hate strangers’ elbows. Y’know, when in crowded or not-so-crowded places, strangers hit their elbow in any part of my body.
20. I play the guitar. Not so well, but I can play ok.
21. Left-handed people catch my attention. I find them peculiar.
22. I can sit in front of a web-enabled desktop computer for a week straight, if I willed it.
23. Christmas season is my favorite time of year.
24. I collect figurines. When my boyfriend jumped in, we started building a collection of collector-item toys.
25. I like doing laundry.
26. I hate washing dishes.
27. I like to bake.
28. I love to cook.
29. I like rearranging furniture.
30. I like to sort/organize stuff.
31. I easily get my stuff all messy and disorganized.
32. I can eat a whole chocolate cake by myself.
33. I am lactose intolerant. (A danger sign for #32.)
34. I am an anaemic. (Which explains #12.)
35. I hate cigars/cigarettes.
36. I like to walk in spring and autumn weather.
37. I get itchy when I eat salty food.
38. I sleep an average of 6 hours: at least 4 hours on hectic days, at most 12 hours on idle days.
39. I can play videogames for 2 days straight. (I did so for FFVIII, FFX and Kingdom Hearts).
40. I haven’t gone to church since May of this year. But I am no athiest, just a delinquent churchgoer.
41. I pray before sleep, often on the verge of falling asleep.
42. I take criticisms pretty badly. I know it’s not good, but I do try my best.
43. I love peaches.
44. I can’t learn to like metal music. Though I’m versatile with music preference.
45. I love pasta.
46. I cried on my friend’s bridal shower. I think I made her cry too.
47. I only have had one fight (unrelated to matters-of-the-heart). It was in freshman high, and it was with a very good friend of mine. We’re in good terms now. I don’t remember what we fought about anymore.
48. I have had four failed (romantic) relationships. One of which I’m happy to have fixed… and ready to have for keeps.
49. I have one great fear: that of losing the one person who makes me happy.
50. My dream is to help my parents enjoy a comfortable life when they retire.
51. I admit I am more of a dreamer than a person who takes initiative. But I do my best to take charge when I know I am capable.
52. I wish my friends and I would have more time to spend with each other, simply relaxing and having fun.
53. I love the Beatles. Thanks to my papa.

he best mornings I’ve had are Saturdays as a child, waking up to a hearty breakfast and watching cartoons.
57. The best evenings I’ve had are Friday night gimmicks with friends OR family.
58. The worst date I’ve had was dining with a guy who asked “Aren’t you gonna eat?” and when I said “I’m not that hungry” he just bought food for himself and all I did was watch.
59. I hate rain when I have to travel.
60. People who blow their vehicle horns in nonmoving traffic bug me. What the heck is up with that???
61. I should drink more water, I forget to drink very often.
62. I’ve used 6 cellphone models, a motorola microTac in college, and since i worked: a nokia 5110, a nokia, 8110, a nokia 7110, a nokia 7210, and currently a nokia 6610.

63. I don’t believe in falling in love without being friends first.
64. I’m shy to strangers, but I’m a maniac with my closest friends.
65. Though I’m a girl, I don’t fancy being around girls much (unless they’re my friends). It’s hard to explain.
66. My hair rises on end on horror stories. I will count months and months until I get a restful sleep.
67. I hate long lines in ladies’ rooms.
68. I can last a day without water.
69. I never grow tired of singing/listening to/emoting to certain songs. (I wanna list them down later.)
70. I don’t usually watch concerts coz of the crowds.
71. Boisterous laughter irritates me.
72. The best afternoon I’ve had is quiet alone time with my boyfriend.
73. I like being pampered, and even better when it’s free ^.~
74. I can’t get used to cursing.
75. Men in sleeveless shirts, or body-fit ones for that matter, turn me off.
76. I have annoyingly sensitive skin on my palms and soles of my feet.
77. I hate how my body responds negatively when I drink unsterilized tap water.
78. My nail cuticles chap easily.
79. There is a friend I’ve disowned, initially because my boyfriend doesn’t like him, but lately I realize that person really is not such a good pal. I don’t hate him though, we’re just not friends anymore.
80. I almost died as a baby due to scarlet fever.
81. I never learned how to swim.
82. I learned to ride a bike when I was nine years old, on Christmas Eve.
83. I have 5 moles on my face. They’re all like specks of dirt, and dead.
84. I don’t like motorcycles.
85. I love cars. Fancy ones. But I don’t drive.
86. I like Japanese food, but I hate california maki.
87. I’m not a big fan of Chinese cuisine.
88. I’ve forgotten how to write in standard cursive.
89. I’ve done a dare once, … (something to do with losing an article of clothing for a split-second)
90. I have 20/20 vision!

91. I can write in hiragana and katakana, and a some kanji (about a hundred characters only).
92. What I think is my worst achievement is gaining 33 pounds in the past 10 years!!
93. I know only about 5 percent of my relatives.

94. I’m clumsy. (In his words, I always trip. I fell down 2 flights of stairs, twice, this year alone)
95. My head has a weird shape. (In his words, I seems to be missing a chunk of my head)
96. I have had 3 old childhood wounds in my head. (Of course they’re scars now.)
